When Allie was sixteen, she suffered a traumatic brain injury. Through practicing yoga, meditation and photography, she found stillness in her own life. She quickly realized that she could give back to her community by utilizing the same mediums. Allie graduated from The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan in New York City with a Bachelors degree in Photography in 2014. Traveling across the globe to Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Mexico, Europe and Bali, Indonesia post graduation. After visiting Bali for the first time in 2014, she fell in love with the culture and the sense of community. She returned in 2015 to work with Project Clean Uluwatu, a nonprofit that focuses on improving environmental issues on the south side of the island of Bali. Her strong connection to the island lead her back to Bondalem, Bali, Indonesia for the third time to complete her 200 hour yoga teacher training and Reiki I & II certification with the Yandara Yoga Institute. She has a passion for teaching mixed level Vinyasa classes as well as Restorative. When she is not on the mat, she can be found photographing in the ocean and lifestyle portraits or immersing herself in the different cultures that the world has to offer.
