Amy has been teaching yoga since June 2015, after she completed her 200-hr teacher training under Julia Ruocco. Her yoga journey began in 2008, primarily as a physical practice, to alleviate the chronic lower back pain that had plagued her for many years. As her practice evolved, she moved deeper into the mental aspects of yoga, and came to see the physical activity as a healthy way to her calm her frenetic energy and quiet her mind.
Amy’s classes are designed to invigorate the physical body and inspire personal growth and reflection. She loves teaching students of all levels, and tailors her classes to meet the individual needs and experience levels of her students. She encourages students to challenge themselves appropriately, to build physical & mental strength, but also to find the balance between stress and rest.
Amy is passionate about helping others tap into their own unique potential. She believes that we all have the power within to change our narrative and that every day offers a new opportunity to shine brightly!!
