Anew Beginning Yoga 

This class is to learn about yoga basics, develop skills and knowledge that can help support a healthy lifestyle, and discover techniques which will help to reduce stress. The benefits of yoga include: increased muscle tone and flexibility, improved strength and endurance, better breathing, mental calmness, and stress reduction. This class will breakdown postures and give you the proper alignment to avoid injury.  Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.
 

Anew HONEY FLow 

Poses will be presented and performed slowly and mindfully, even the transitions from pose to pose are like one long slow graceful dance, filling you with a sense of freedom and peace. Build a stronger body while releasing tension and flow your way into a more blissful state. You will learn about deepening your breath to live more present in the moment. This class is suitable for beginners with little or no yoga experience, however the most experienced yoga practitioner will also be challenged as less is sometimes more.

Anew Complete Yoga 

Asanas (postures) are a great way to get into the practice of yoga but they are only a small part of what Yoga is. Pranayama (breathing exercises), philosophy, meditation, and self inquiry are all tools that can get us closer to what Yoga is-union. In this class each tool will be practiced as they relate to the theme of the day. The asana portion will be a challenging (but accessible to most) selection of flow and/or longer held postures (depending on the theme), the rest (savasana) will be longer with purpose, and the pranayama and meditation will tie up the theme of the day. Some asana experience is recommended as well as a journal and pen.
 

Anew Flow Asana 

This class is geared toward the student that enjoys a physical challenge and likes to explore the body’s capacity for strength.  Alignment cues and hands-on assists are woven in safely to guide students through challenging but accessible poses to build strength and flexibility. Recommended for those with yoga experience, but modifications will be offered so everyone can work at their own pace.
 

Anew Power Asana 

This class is an advanced class for experienced students or athletes. The class starts with a fast paced vinyasa flow designed to warm the body.  Once the body is warmed, the class can shift to some arm balances, inversions, and standing balance poses.  The class then moves into a core workout and ends with seated postures to slowly cool down.
 

Anew Heated Asana 

Anew Power Asana with a room temperature ranging from 85 - 95 degrees F.
 

Anew Restorative Yoga 

Focuses on relaxing the body in restful postures.  Rest provides the body an opportunity to renew and heal.  Restorative yoga helps to trigger the parasympathetic nervous system (PNS), responsible for balancing the body and bringing its response system back into equilibrium.  Stimulating the PNS helps lower heart rate and blood pressure, and strengthens the immune system.


Anew Sunrise Yoga 

Hatha yoga practice for all levels.  Integrates pranayama, asana and meditation to help you start your day focused and energized.


Anew Yin Yoga 

Initially called “Daoist" Yoga, this style of yoga targets the deep connective tissues and helps regulate the flow of energy in the body.  Suitable for almost all levels of students, it is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular styles of yoga.  While initially this style of yoga can seem passive, or soft, yin practice can be quite challenging due to the long duration of the poses.  Pranayama and meditation are part of the practice.  You need to experience it to really know what Yin Yoga is all about. After that, you will realize that you have been doing only half of the asana practice. 

Anew aerial Yoga

Aerial yoga is a type of yoga which uses silks, also known as hammocks, to allow students the capability to access all yoga poses. Aerial yoga is beneficial for students who spend a long time sitting, or who would like some assistance with their backbends because it has a decompressing effect on the body. You don't need to be an acrobat to learn and love aerial, or antigravity, workouts. If you struggle with motion sickness, try this anyway, but let the instructor know, and they will modify the postures throughout the class.

ANEW ACRO YOGA - Beginners Foundations

Acro Yoga blends the wisdom of yoga, the dynamic power of acrobatics, and the loving kindness of Thai massage healing arts. These three lineages form the foundation of a practice that cultivates trust, playfulness, and community. Let this class be where your Acro Yoga journey begins! We will break down the foundation postures of Acro Yoga while adding in counter balance moves, partner yoga, conditioning and more. If you already practice Acro Yoga, use this class to refine your practice and brush up on beginner friendly material. 

ANEW ACRO YOGA - All levels

In this All Levels Acro Yoga class we will build dynamic strength using yoga and acrobatic conditioning, build trust using partner and group based trust exercises, and learn how to deepen communication to work in groups in a safe environment. No partner necessary, some experience recommended. 

ANEW ACRO YOGA - Intermediate

This intermediate AcroYoga class will include handstand training, Acro Vinyasa, and washing machines for a more dynamic acro class.
