Gina first began practicing yoga in 2002, in her search for peace of mind, self-acceptance and spiritual enlightenment. She was certified in Vata Asana Aerial Yoga in 2015, then as an RYT-200 in 2016, and worked her way up to an ERYT-200, in 2017. As a former gymnast and gymnastic instructor, Gina always dreamt of creating a life where fitness and health would be her career. A fundamental believer in the Divine connection between mind, body and spirit, yoga was the perfect fit. She is extremely passionate in her classes, to help spread this gift of health and well-being to others by teaching in an upbeat, light-hearted, and optimistic setting. "I love to bring a sense of humor to class. Whether it be through some silly posture, sound effects, or a fun playlist, I am certain laughter, music, and yoga, are the best medicine around. When someone comes to class who appears to be having a rough time (because we all have those days), then appears refreshed and renewed after Savasana, that is what it's all about. I love watching students progress and nail postures they never dreamed possible. But it's mainly about making everyone feel that they are welcome, capable, and loved no matter what. It's all about community and connection. I have the best job in the world! I am extremely thankful to be where I am today. My student's warmth and joy are infectious! The saying "you get what you give" always rings true. Be your authentic self, and the Light will shine on through."
