I thought I was just taking another exercise class in a high school gym when I signed up for yoga over 30 years ago. After my first class, I realized something had shifted within me and that yoga made me happy and calm. Curious to know why this had happened, I began to study yoga philosophy, meditate, and studied with various teachers, including Julia Ruocco and Romy Toussaint. I became a teacher in 2015 because I believe yoga gives us tools for daily, balanced living, enabling us to live our best life possible. I am also a certified massage practitioner, educated in the form and function of the body, and am interested in bringing yoga to those with neurological challenges. I bring my knowledge of essential oils for emotional release into my yoga practice. I am so blessed that yoga came into my life and humbled to share it with others.
