Priya is an RYT-200 yoga instructor and a physical therapist. She holds her BS in Biology and Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University and her DPT from Northwestern University. She began practicing yoga in 2002, frequently finding herself in power and vinyasa flow classes. From high school to grad school, yoga followed her from Princeton to Pittsburgh, Washington D.C., and Chicago. In 2013, Priya moved back to NJ and pursued yoga more seriously, eventually completing her teacher training with Julia Ruocco and Cathy Madeo who have inspired her to make real yoga breakthroughs and take her yoga off the mat.
Priya brings her love for anatomy and movement into her yoga practice. She has grown a deep appreciation for the body’s ability to restore, change, and grow. She finds that when it comes to the healing process -- yoga just works. Priya offers a dynamic and challenging flow that will inspire you to learn about how your body moves and your ability to build inner and outer strength.
